New York was amazing:)
the plane ride. not so much. i hate the feeling the helpless in the air feeling where no can save you and having your life in the hands of some person you've never seen thousands of feet in the air plummet to your death at any moment turbulent feeling. no thanks. ill stick to driving and take my chances. besides the ride, new york was beautiful. the first day chris and i met up with his brother at his apartment and visited the natural history museum and central park. just walked around the city. we grabbed a beer in some pub type place and tried to find a wedding gift at a giant Macy's with no luck. that night his aunt took us to dinner at the Bar Americain i had the fish market cioppino.

it was so incredibly good but i did spill orange soupy sauce al over my shirt. After dinner we met up with some of Chris's friends i wasn't too happy though which i feel bad about. but i had this giant orange stain on my pale pink blouse and had to parade through town and meet people. so embarrassing plus i was so tired from my 3 hours of sleep the night before and no rest during the day and it was already 11. i was grumpy. sorry:(. but the places were really amazing. everything is so much older then what i'm used to with like histories. and this one lounge bar type place we stopped at looked crazy so much character but i really didn't fit in way underdressed. everyone was real dressed up ready for a night out and i was in toms jeans and a stained blouse. and there was this little place i think it was called spain where they give you appetizers for just ordering something they brought us meatballs and something else i cant remember but it was complimentary which was really cool. the next day we went gift hunting found the crate and barrel on my phone and took the subway but undershot the place and ended walking for a few blocks but it was amazing. the perfect weather for walking around so cool compared to florida. we found a good gift stopped at a deli and had lunch in the subway. i kinda really liked the subway. the wedding was in NJ and was really beautiful. the nicest wedding ive ever been to. The bride and groom looked beautiful it was nice to see all of their families and friends. it was just a really great wedding. overall the trip was really great and i want to go back when its cold and spend more time in the city. this time well dressed and fully rested:)

since i got back ive been spending a lot of time in school. im really enjoying this semester my classes are interesting except maybe govt. but its important i guess. i have plenty of time to practice and have the wind ensemble and orchestra to play in. still playing music out with chris. we played last night with our friend Russel at a church dinner thing and tonight we're laying at B3's . Lifes going pretty great. oh! Chris and i had our first year anniversary on the 16th. i cant believe its been a year. it went by fast but also feels like i cant remember not being with him. oh i love him so.
