the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3K
i usually allow myself one new big purchase a school year. first year of college was my hp laptop. 2nd year a brand new oboe<3. 3rd year a new macbook pro cause my hp crapped out. and this year i think it will be this camera since my current digital camera takes the same quality photo as my cell phone. so this will be the least expensive of any of my school year purchases. but so useful.
