I think I posted before about how I made the first chair oboe spot in orchestra this semester

well, for the upcoming concert one of the pieces we are playing is the Bacchanale from Saint-Saens Samson and Delilah which opens with a pretty sweet oboe solo.

well this weekend I decided to work on it to make it as sexy as possible to set the mood

( a bacchanale is a party which is more like an orgy? possibly)

and today for like the first time ever I got complimented on it and without me telling anyone how I was trying to play it the conductor mentioned that it was really sexy. 

So I'm really just happy that all the work came across

And the mood i wanted to come out did:)
