Music Monday (week five)

So this Monday is different then anyother monday in my life.
It is the first Monday that I am a married woman.
I woke up with my husband in a house that we both live in. In my first home away from my parents.
It is a little bittersweet being away from home knowing that will never be my life again.
Thinking of myself as an adult is pretty crazy.
But I am also so happy that Christopher and I get to spend the rest of our lives together.
He is truly the love of my life and I am so excited about my future with him.
It was such a beautiful wedding day. I don't think it could've been any better.
But I'll talk more about it in another post:)
until then here is a photo of Chris and I on our wedding day.

a little lipstick touchup:).This was after the ceremony and the limo ride, right before we made our grand entrance at the reception.
I've been on an R.Kelly binge this morning so here is Forever by R.Kelly.

who doesn't love r.kelly?

  1. Hi Beatriz! Wow! Congrats on getting married, you totally have that wedding glow in your picture and look so happy and beautiful on your wedding day! the first few weeks of marriage are so fascinating aren't they? That is also so cool that you play the oboe! Do you ever play in orchestra or anything like that? I used to, and the oboe always had the most beautiful solo parts! Are you going to grad school for music? sorry if I am bombarding you with too many questions! hope you have a great weekend :)

    1. Thank you! not to many questions at all:)
The first weeks of marriage are pretty crazy, so many big changes but totally worth it. Now that its been about a month things are beginning to settle, new little routines are forming and I am pretty adjusted to the new living situation:)
I play oboe in a few different ensembles but primarily the orchestra at my college, in a woodwind quintet, and in a duo with my husband. what did you play in orchestra?
Grad school, permitting that I get large scholarships or an assistantship, will be in Oboe performance to just further my lessons, expand my knowledge of music, and hopefully allow me to feel ready to step out as a performer.
